I was commissioned in 1999 by Ron and Martha Parsons, California, to paint a picture of the Lord pouring out His blessing upon the earth, it so happened I had been sketching an idea for a picture of the Lord shaking His people out of a giant Salt Cellar into the world and his people were floating down on Parachutes which had written on them the characteristics God wants His people to display in fact this is one of the ways God intends to bless the earth - through His people being salt, we the Disciples of Jesus are called to be the "salt of the earth" - Matthew 5:13. With a few minor adjustments the sketch was turned into the picture you see here.
