The Lord is my Shepherd (Psalm 23) - A4 Size
The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Psalm 23:1-3
In the foreground you can see the world, the Cross and the Empty tomb reflected in the still waters. I wanted to depict this from the perspective of Eternity, the Bible teaches us that Eternal life is in knowing the Father, here children from different nations, who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour are led into the green pastures of our heavenly Father and not only them but for all who believe in Jesus. With a stone wall surrounding the pasture, outside is the wilderness - the gate has been left open, but Judgement day will signal the closure of the gate and will be too late for those who would not enter in, the scriptures tell us today is the day of Salvation - let us seek the Lord while he may be found.
