Go into all the World
In 1993 I painted my first picture with this theme while at the Harbour of Cascais, Portugal, the pictures here are based on this - the difference being one has Jesus pointing while the second has Jesus pointing at the world. In the pictures the wind of the Holy Spirit is blowing as Jesus is telling his people to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation - Mark 16:15, the scythe and rake represent his people getting ready to bring the harvest in, one boy is sitting with a bucket of Seed which symbolize's the word of God to be sown throughout the world, the nets and fish symbolize that he will make his people fishers of men.
