I was commissioned to produce a picture based on the scripture "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5" I thought and prayed about this, the picture seen here is how I decided to interprete the scripture....as you ponder the cityscape and the workmen on top of a skyscraper under construction, try to imagine what it must be like working up amongst the narrow girders. Life can be just the same sometimes, problems and fears take on skyscraper proportions if we lean on our own understanding - it can lead to spiritual vertigo.
In the picture "Trust" is depicted like a bucket suspended from the scripture. When we step into trusting in God with all our heart it's then we see things in a new way from a security of knowing our Heavenly Father's love and care for us....it's then we see life in the true perspective. |
