A Broken and Contrite Heart -A4
This Pastel picture I produced in August 2000. It was inspired from the words of a worship song (sorry I forgot the name of the writer!). its about letting our light shine when our hearts are broken - Maybe when our hearts are broken the light can be seen clearly, in the picture, a candle flame is burning brightly representing faith in the heart of a believer, it's in times of trials that our faith in Jesus is proved genuine. The bible teaches us "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. Psalm 51:17
